Workshop by Oleg Soulimenko (Russia/Austria)

"Private and Public Stories”

This is a workshop for artists (age group 50+), who want to tell their stories (real and fictional) in an extraordinary manner. By using our body, voice, text, objects, documentary we will work with our own history, private, political, biographical and historical events.

Our imagination, fantasy, personal facts, social and political events, which were significant for us, will take an important part in our process. We will improvise, work with time, space, composition and with different states of body and mind to create short performances. And probably some unexpected things will appear.

Authenticity, glamour, kitsch, minimal and reduce approach are welcome!

It must be possible to portray reality as the historical fiction that it actually is.
